A little insight into what to expect from counselling and the therapeutic space...
Counselling is a gentle yet dynamic process of transformation and insight in which an interpersonal relationship of trust is established between you and your therapist in a relaxed setting in order to:
create a deeper understanding of self
create meaningful change
challenge beliefs and patterns that no longer serve you
navigate times of stress, anxiety, challenge &/or grief (including loss of a pet)
realise personal and professional goals with the aid of someone who is able to provide the tools and insights necessary for you to move forward in ways that bring a new perspective and positive lasting outcomes
move towards a self and life aligned with meaning and a deeper realization of your potential.
The therapeutic space:
is free of judgment
travels at a pace set by the individual
consistently responds to your changing needs and 'shifts'
is about providing the tools and insights necessary for you to move forward in ways that bring a new perspective and positive, lasting outcomes
about presence, deep listening and experiencing a deeper sense of peace and freedom in your life.
Techniques also used during counselling sessions may include:
